There are basically two types of teachers:
1. Those who want the educational material to be ready for them to use and
2. Those who are ready to develop their own even if there is ready to use material.
OPEN ENDED SOFTWARE ARE MOSTLY PREFERED BY THE SECOND TYPE OF TEACHERS.
ICTEACH GROUP
ICTEACH is a group of educators and profesionals on Information and Communication Technology who design, develop, immplement special software and special systems in an effort to facilitate learning.
There is special care of the group in the special needs people.
New members are welcome and please send us your comments, ideas and suggestions.

MAPS (Mental Attributes Profiling System)
Our group participated in the design, developement and standardizatioν of MAPS, a diagnostic tool. The tool works in Greek and is now translated in other languages as well. The head of the group is an active memebr of CNTI (The Cyprus Neuroscience and TEchnology Institute, www.cnti.org.cy).
The above falls into our involvement in various projects for diagnosis, intervention and researching on DYSLEXIA.
STAPA is one of our recent work, which hopefully will be ready
by mid 2009.
